Wing Dril FIXX

Area of application: Friction-drilling and thread-tightening screw, intended for attaching or joining soft materials to metal. For example: wood, plywood, particleboard to steel fasteners. Drill bit with cutter wings. Wing Dril, mills, drills, threads, and plunges in a single operation. Cutter wings hold up a clearance hole in the soft material. The wings are then broken off against the steel material and a strong thread is formed. Other: Recessed head with grooves. Speed 1600 rpm.
