Whisper is an electronic leak detector ideal for detecting and locating ultrasonic frequencies generated when the following common situations occur:
• leakage of any gas under pressure or vacuum
• electrical overload
• worn bearings
Whisperer picks up the ultrasound that arises in the event of, for example, leakage and turns it into an audible sound for the human ear in the supplied headphones. In this way it is possible to locate the leakage of whichever refrigerant or other gas at any time, for example when a conventional leak detector or leak detection spray does not work so well. Because the Whisperer only takes up ultra frequency sound it works really well, even in noisy environments. Supplied with a hard plastic bag and two “D" alkaline batteries, which can provide 165 hours of operation.

The Cloud Hunter mode is optimal to use in rooms with a lot of refrigerant gas in the air by showing the concentration of refrigerant gas in ppm on the leak detector's large color display.The closer you get to the source of the leak, the higher the concentration is displayed. The pinpoint mode is optimal to use when you are close to the leakage point as the leak detector in the classic way alerts for leakage with a color scale from green to red and a ticking sound with a frequency that indicates the concentration of the refrigerant gas. Switch between automatic and manual reset. The D-TEK Stratus has a newly developed IR sensor with the longest durability on the market that is easy to replace.
