Electrode Elga Cromarod 316LP

Cromarod 316LP is a positional rutile flux coated electrode designed specially for welding thin walled (down to 1.5 mm) pipelines found in the chemical process and paper-making industries. It is suitable for stainless, austenitic “acid resistant" steel i.e. low carbon 19% Cr / 12% Ni / 3% Mo. The electrode can be used in all welding situations, ignites and reignites very easily also has a soft burn even in low
currents, Which means it’s very good for use when welding according to the so called drip welding method. Cromarod 316LP is also recommended for root runs and butt welds in large material thicknesses.
