Threaded insert heli-coil

Helicoil thread inserts have long been prised for their reliability and security, providing strong screw connections in aluminium and other soft materials.
Today, Helicoil is used for all types of materials and a wide range of applications. Stainless steel threading insert (SIS 2333), consists of a wire cold-rolled wire to the precise threading profile, with extremely tight tolerances and high surface finish. The wire is formed into a spiral with the driving tap for assembly. If necessary, lock the driving tap after assembly. Helicoil sets securely. Helicoil has a pre-assembly diameter larger than that of the material thread. The larger diameter is carefully calculated, ensuring that the threading insert sits securely in place after assembly.
With a thread insert in a binding, the load on the first thread reduces from 50% to 30% of the total screw load. The threading insert creates a strong thread, allowing you to use high strength screws or to select shorter thread lengths in soft materials.
