The cable is primarily intended to be used for internal connections in switch cabinets or the like. RK is a lead-free, PVC-insulated, connection cable with a round multi-wire copper conductor. The cable is designed according to SS 424 02 31-3. The conductor has resistance according to IEC 60228 class 5. The insulation is marked "NEXANS GS SEMKO has area mm²" for areas up to 240 mm². S07V-K 300 mm2 and 400 mm² are marked "NEXANS GS AREA mm²". RK complies with fire spreading class IEC 60332-1 (F2). The cable is approved by SEMKO. Rough RK from 95mm² up to RK 400mm² is replaced with RQ.
