Elma DT5500A is a new insulation tester with really good resolution; it is also a multimeter. The instrument is very robust and equipped with a large and easy-to-read display with a built-in analog bar graph. The multimeter measures AC/DC voltage, resistance, and through time. The insulation tester has adjustable test voltage: 125, 250, 500 and 1000V lockable test function
Elma DT5500A has automatic discharging of capacitive voltage and automatically warns of dangerous voltage if one tries to do a resistance test on an installation that is energised. The instrument has automatic range selection, data hold and min-/max measurement. Elma DT5500 is equipped with an integrated rubber protection cover, complies with IEC CAT III 1000V / CAT IV 600V and comes complete in bag incl. test wiring, batteries and manual.
