CPUs Standard Simatic S7-300
Art. no.: 4500369
Modular expandable PLC for smaller or medium system solutions with extensive range of modules for optimisation and adaptation to different types of applications. Fully integrated in Totally Integrated Automation:
- Configuration and programming with STEP 7
- Network structure with MPI, PROFIBUS and PROFINET.
Complete family with CPUs from start CPUs to powerful CPUs with high processing speed which allow short machine cycle times. Depending on the application there are CPU communications interfaces for industrial Ethernet and Profibus. Even available in designs for outdoor applications with extreme conditions, and a Fail-safe design. All Profinet CPUs (PN) have an integrated Web-Server with amongst others access to the CPU’s diagnostic information and variable tables.

Analogue input and output modules S7-1500

Analogue input and output modules S7-1500
Art. no.: 4503027
These extension modules, you can use either directly on the central rack in S7-1500 system or in a ET200MP node. To each CPU we cab connect up to 32 modules on the central racket. They are connected to each other with a U-connector. U-connector included with each IO module. The CPU feeds the back plan buss. When you expand the system with many IO modules or when you put stress on the CPU's feed a lot, eventually reaching the limit of how much power the CPU can deliver to back plan buss. Then you can add more power on the back plane via an extra system net component, a PS. You can build up its configuration in TIA-portal or with Simatic selection tool to see when you need to add PS. Hence:
o Max. 12 expansions without additional power supply and no extra power sockets
o Max. 32 with extra power supply
There are different variants of expansion modules, the idea is that the customer should not have to pay for more functionality than they really need. We have High Feature (HF), High Speed (HS),
Standard modules (ST) as well as Basic modules (BA). The difference is mainly the ability for diagnosis, accuracy and speed of the cards.
All 25 mm modules include Push-in front contact. For all the other modules
the front connector must be ordered separately.
For more details, you can look at the support pages of each article number, in the manual or in the
ST70.
Analogue input and output modules S7-1500
Basic system S7-1500 standard
Siemens
Basic system S7-1500 standard
Art. no.: 4503739
Seven standard CPUs with graded performance are available for the SIMATIC S7-1500:
• CPU 1511-1 PN:
For smaller applications with medium needs regarding program scope and processing speed, for distributed installation via PROFINET IO.
• CPU 1513-1 PN:
For applications with medium requirements on program scope and processing speed, for distributed installation via PROFINET IO.
• CPU 1515-2 PN:
For applications with medium / high demands on the scope of the program, network and processing speed, for distributed installation via PROFINET IO. The second PROFINET interface with separate IP address can be used to connect additional PROFINET IO RT devices, for high-speed communication as an I device, or for network separation.
• CPU 1516-3 PN / DP:
For applications with high demands on program scope, network and processing speed, for distributed installation via PROFINET IO and PROFIBUS DP. The second PROFINET interface with separate IP address can be used to connect additional PROFINET IO RT devices, for high-speed communication as an I device, or for network separation.
• CPU 1517-3 PN / DP:
For applications with very high demands on program scope and network, and for very high demands on processing speed, for distributed installation via PROFINET IO and PROFIBUS DP. The second PROFINET interface with separate IP address can be used to connect additional PROFINET IO RT devices, for high-speed communication as an I device, or for network separation.
• CPU 1518-4 PN / DP:
For applications with extremely high demands on program scope and network, and for highest demands on processing speed. For distributed configuration via PROFINET IO and PROFIBUS DP. The PROFINET interface X2 can be used for connecting additional PROFINET IO RT devices or for fast communication as an I device. The PROFINET interface X3 facilitates data transmission at a speed of 1 Gbps. The two additional integrated PROFINET interfaces with separate IP addresses can be used, for example, for network separation.
• CPU 1518-4 PN / DP ODK:
For applications with very high demands on the scope of the program, network and processing speed and for the highest demands on processing speed. The CPU 1518-4 PN/DP ODK enables the execution of functions created with the high-level language C/C++.
