LOCTITE 638 is designed for gluing cylindrical mounting components, especially where the joints can be as large as 0.25 mm. The product cures when confined in the absence of air between close-fitting metal surfaces and prevents loosening and leakage due to shock and vibration. It works on both active metals and passive surfaces, with excellent curing properties. This product has excellent high temperature properties and oil resistance, and is resistant to surface contamination.
