ACS355 is designed for speed control of short-circuit induction motors and permanent magnet motors in effects from 0.37 kW to 22 kW. ACS355 is available in a 1-phase (230V) or 3-phase (400V) power supply.
ACS355 is a powerful frequency converter for machine applications and material handling, but can also be used for many general applications.

ACS355 has built-in security. SIL 3/PLe is an approved dual-safety input STO. The frequency converter has a variety of functions and features, such as, sequence programming, vector control (with or without pulse transducer for high speed accuracy), field bus communication, etc. ACS355 is prepared for the FlashDrop programming tool (which allows for uninterruptible programming of voltage loss), but can also be programmed with DriveWindow Light 2, which is also used for sequence programming. A library of application macros is available with functions and parameters that allow for easy selection of the desired application.
A local control panel can be selected as an accessory, delivered as standard with a cover.
Enclosure class:
ACS355 is now available in two enclosure classes.
IP20as standard, up to 22kW
IP66, IP67 & IP69K as options, up to 7.5kW in this design, the frequency converter can also be delivered with a built-in safety switch within the same enclosure class. This enclosure is approved according to NSF, which makes it suitable for use in the food industry.
EMC
ACS355 by default comes with integrated EMC filters for industrial networks, i.e. environmental class 2, (C3 according to EN 61800-3). For public networks (residential or office or similar) apply EMC filter for environmental class 1 (C1-C2 under EN 61800-3) under the accessories below.
Communication
I/O connections; 2 x analog inputs 0 (2) - 10V (or bipolar) or 0 (4)-20mA, 1 x analog output, 5 x digital inputs, 1 x relay output, 1 x transistor input/output for safe speed reference.
Field bus, as accessories: EtherCAT, PROFIBUS-DP, DeviceNet, Modbus/TCP, Ethernet/IP, CanOpen and Modbus RTU.
Ballast circuit is included as standard. The brake resistor is optional
Lacquered circuit boards, as standard.
Protection against incorrectly connected I/O and motor connections.
